Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Plinth, the project intelligence service for architecture firms, and the plinth-studios.com website. By using Plinth you agree to them.
1. Using Plinth
You may use Plinth only for your firm's lawful business purposes and in line with these terms. If you accept these terms on behalf of a firm, you confirm you have authority to bind it, and "you" means that firm.
You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at hello@plinth-studios.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
2. Connected accounts
Plinth works by connecting to accounts you choose, such as your email. You must have the right to connect each account and to let Plinth process the messages in it. You can disconnect an account at any time; Plinth will stop collecting new data from it.
How we handle data from connected accounts, including Google user data, is described in our Privacy Policy.
3. Your data
You own your data. You give us permission to host, process and display it only as needed to provide Plinth to you. We do not sell your data or use it to train public AI models.
You can export or delete your data at any time. If you stop using Plinth, your data leaves with you.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Plinth to break the law or infringe anyone's rights.
- Connect accounts or process data you are not authorised to.
- Try to access other firms' data, probe or disrupt the service, or get around its security.
- Copy, resell or reverse engineer the service, except where the law allows.
5. AI-generated content
Plinth uses AI to extract and summarize information from your messages. Every item links back to its source so you can check it, but AI output can be incomplete or wrong. You are responsible for reviewing it before relying on it for professional, contractual or legal decisions.
6. Pilots and fees
Pilots are provided free of charge and without commitment unless we agree otherwise in writing. Any paid plan will be governed by the pricing and terms we agree with you at the time.
7. Our intellectual property
Plinth, including its software, design and branding, belongs to us. These terms give you the right to use the service; they do not transfer any ownership. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep Plinth available and reliable, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or improve the service over time and will give reasonable notice of changes that materially reduce what it does.
9. Disclaimers
Except as expressly stated in these terms, Plinth is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Plinth is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or $100 if you have paid nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Ending your use
You can stop using Plinth at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms. On termination we will make your data available for export for 30 days and then delete it, as described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and notify you by email before they take effect. Continuing to use Plinth after that means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you and Plinth consent to their jurisdiction.
14. Contact
